If you are trying to get healthy and lose weight, you are probably wondering how to make exercise a habit. As you probably know already, the fundamentals to a healthy lifestyle are clean eating, regular exercise, 7-8 hours of sleep, and low stress. But how do you tackle turning working out into a habit?
I used to hate exercise. The gym, running, walking, I hated it all. I was incredibly bad at sports and I thought I could never get better. This was my life. It never occurred to me at the time that making exercise a habit would change all that. Once I learned how to train properly in the gym, I started going every morning before work, not only because I wanted to lose weight and get fit, but because I genuinely enjoyed it. Slowly but surely, working it out became a habit.
It will be hard at first, I won’t lie. Exercising is something that is seen as appalling by most people, mostly because they’re so out of shape they think they’ll have to suffer to get better. That’s what I thought myself. Well, you’ll have to work hard yes, but suffer? Never. Not unless you want to.
On the contrary, I assure you it will be fun!
